How to prepare for a nursery photo shoot
1. How should we dress our children and what should we wear?
Unless the children have a uniform for their pre-school, I recommend children are dressed in neutral colours. If you have more than one child at the nursery or pre-school, you can match what the children are wearing. For example, you may want your children to wear jeans and white tops. I also ask that shoes are removed when on the studio background, so this may affect what everyone wears.
2. How many people can be photographed?
The space for my nursery mobile studio is perfect for photographing 1 or 2 children, or 1 child and 1 adult. I’m happy to photograph siblings together. Some nurseries also suggest parents come to the photoshoot. In this case, I also photograph parents with their children.
3. How much are the photos and how do we get them?
Each session is about 5 minutes long and you will have been provided a price list from the nursery. When your child’s photos are ready, you will be provided with 4 printed photo proofs and an order form. You will also be provided a unique ID and password for accessing the entire gallery online (which I highly recommend you do!). Once the photos are ready, they can be purchased by filling in the order form you’ll receive OR by ordering directly online.
4. Any more questions?
I look forward to photographing your little one!
