If you’d like to give the lasting gift of photography for Father’s day, here are my top 3 suggestions!
As a London family photographer it’s not surprising that I live and breath photography. I also think it’s a great idea as gifts for special occasions. A lot of families book a photo shoot specifically to mark a special occasion. If you’re thinking of photography for Father’s day – something that they’ll treasure – here are my favourite ideas!
1. Get great photos of your children to use on gifts. In other words, book a mini photo session.
Mini photo shoot sessions are great. They are quick and not very expensive either. You can use pictures for Father’s Day cards or have pictures printed and framed. My mini sessions are 10 minutes long and start at £20 for 1 digital download or £60 for all images. The next session I have on in my Twickenham Green studio in Southwest London is on Sunday 27th of May, specifically for Father’s Day. To see availability and /book a session you can go here: www.familyphotographybyAndisheh.com/book.
If that’s too far for you to travel, find out if one of your local photographers is holding mini sessions in time for getting photos done. Get in touch if you’d like any referrals closer to you.
2. Get a gift certificate for a photo shoot with the entire family. That way he’s in the photo too!
These sessions tend to be longer but he’ll love getting pictures that include him! There are so many lovely areas in Southwest London for outdoor shoots that you’ll be spoiled for choice. Having photos done at home, capturing the fun of family life is also a great idea. I’m happy to provide gift certificates and most photographers have some lovely ones they can provide you.
3. Get something as simple as a mug with your kid’s pictures on them.
Sometimes the simple gifts are the best. As long as he takes good care of the mug he’ll cherish it for a long time!
