I’m Andisheh Thomson – a baby and family photographer based in Twickenham, Southwest London
When your family is the most important part of your life, you want to have wonderful photographs of them. Most families book me because they are acutely aware of how quickly babies and children grow and change. They want to freeze a moment of time with beautiful photography that they can look back on in years to come. They also want the photos to look natural and capture their children’s personalities.
My baby and family photography is timeless because my style is unfussy and simple.
I love pictures of children that show genuine happiness and of those tender quiet moments when they forget I’m photographing them. This is the same approach I apply as a newborn baby photographer, where I produce beautiful, simple and minimalist photographs that will survive the test of time style-wise.
I have three pictures of my daughter that I’ve placed at the bottom of my staircase. Every morning I start the day with a smile when I see these beautiful photos of her. I will never get tired of looking at them and I want other families to feel the same way about photos of their children.
Andisheh’s areas of photography expertise
As a baby and family photographer, I provide both studio and natural style photography
One of the first questions families email me about is where my photo shoots take place. Families have the option of coming to my studio in Twickenham Green in Richmond-upon-Thames, Southwest London – or doing something on location in the park or at their home. The areas I cover are predominantly in South West London including Twickenham (where I live), St Margarets, Richmond, Teddington, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Kew, Barnes, Chiswick, Putney, Wimbledon, Wandsworth and throughout Surrey. The Surrey locations include Walton, Thames Ditton, Esher, Cobham, and Weybridge. Several times a year I also do mini photo shoot sessions on location at different play groups, like Frankie and Flo’s play cafe or for local NCT fundraisers.
In case you’re wondering, I trained as a professional photographer 10 years ago and have had my work published in most major UK papers, including the Times and Telegraph.
